Bachelor’s degree holders can only stay in France after their studies, provided they have a valid work permit. Students pursuing master’s degrees in France can apply for a 24-month temporary residence permit called APS (Autorisation Provisioire de Séjour). Suppose a student can find work that pays more than 1.5 times the minimum wage guarantee. In that case, they can apply for a Work Permit, which is the critical condition for obtaining a European Union Blue Card (permanent residence).
